ment with the proposal that the Arms

Embargo should now be abandoned, and I

am to request you to inform Secretary

Sir Austen Chamberlain that he concurs

in the instructions it is proposed to

issue to Sir Miles Lampson.

3. Copies of this letter are being

sent to the Admiralty, War Office, Air

Ministry, Dominions Office, India Office,

Board of Trade and Department of Overseas

Trade.
